Conceived entirely by extreme metal polymath Phil Tougas, this project delivers a crushingly heavy, three-track exploration of funeral doom metal. The conceptual narrative concerns a lone knight forced to walk a frozen, eternally dark earth, perfectly mirrored by the glacially slow tempos and agonizing vocal shrieks. It is a masterful, deeply cinematic exercise in creating suffocating atmospheric dread.
