Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length from the Southern California group establishes a foundational sound for the melodic metalcore explosion of the early 2000s. The production emphasizes a hybrid of Gothenburg-style guitar harmonies and the rhythmic urgency of Orange County hardcore. Lyrically, the record explores themes of romantic angst and internal struggle, delivered through the dual vocal dynamic of Alex Varkatzas and Brandon Saller.
