Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Bird of Music' is the second studio album by the Brooklyn-based indie pop trio Au Revoir Simone. The record is characterized by its charming, minimalist arrangements, constructed almost entirely from vintage synthesizers, drum machines, and breathy, three-part vocal harmonies. Its delicate, melancholic atmosphere garnered a dedicated cult following and praise from high-profile advocates like filmmaker David Lynch.
