Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Severed Survival' is a morbidly heavy, incredibly raw cornerstone of early death metal, deeply influential for its implementation of slow, doom-laden grooves. Autopsy's grisly debut is defined by its horrific, vulgar gore themes and a brutally aggressive, disturbing instrumental assault.
