Embracing maximalist dance-pop production, Ava Max delivers an intensely energetic and rhythmic suite of synthpop anthems designed for club environments. The album channels retro synthwave influences into highly polished, modern pop structures focused on narratives of romantic betrayal and post-breakup resilience. 'Don't Click Play' serves as an undeniably uplifting and melodic addition to her discography.
