Album Notes & Community Reviews
Abandoning metalcore screams for classic heavy metal vocals, Avenged Sevenfold broke into the mainstream with this album. 'City of Evil' features dual guitar harmonies, lightning-fast solos, and epic song structures. It is a polarizing but influential modern metal record.
