Album Notes & Community Reviews

Avenged Sevenfold's fifth album, 'Nightmare', is a powerful and emotional work, largely shaped by the passing of their drummer, The Rev. The record balances heavy, melodic metal with anthemic hard rock, featuring some of the band's most iconic and darkly-tinged songs. It stands as both a heartfelt tribute and a commercial breakthrough that solidified their place in modern metal.
