Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut from the Orange County heavyweights is a raw, unpolished document of their metalcore roots, recorded while the members were still in high school. Long before their mainstream hard rock pivot, 'Sounding the Seventh Trumpet' relied heavily on M. Shadows' abrasive screaming and the manic, aggressive drumming of Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan. The album showcases early glimpses of their technical proficiency amidst chaotic, breakdown-heavy arrangements.
