Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at his home studio in Asheville, the Animal Collective co-founder delivers a surprisingly intimate and aquatic-sounding solo effort. The album relies on bubbling synthesizers, acoustic guitar, and intricate, looping vocal melodies that explore themes of nature and spiritual renewal. It provides a warm, surreal departure from the often manic energy of his primary band's output.
