Album Notes & Community Reviews
The virtuosic Israeli bassist and composer continues to refine his complex, highly rhythmic approach to modern jazz. 'Colors' expands his typical acoustic ensemble by prominently featuring a string quartet on several tracks, drawing subtle influences from classical third stream arrangements. The largely instrumental record highlights his incredibly fluid technique and sophisticated, globally-informed compositional style.
