Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arjen Lucassen's ambitious third rock opera features an extensive ensemble cast of guest vocalists portraying diverse historical figures abducted by an alien intelligence. The sprawling double album weaves vintage analog synthesizers, heavy metal riffing, and pastoral folk passages to construct a wonderfully excessive, highly melodic progressive metal masterwork.
