Album Notes & Community Reviews
Deeply steeped in Moorish influences and flamenco flourishes, 'Azahar' presents a distinctly psychedelic variation of the Rock Andaluz style. The band heavily utilizes swirling keyboards and dramatic vocal deliveries to conjure an exotic, intensely regional atmosphere. It represents a proud, culturally defiant strand of progressive music thriving in the newly democratic Spanish state.
