Album Notes & Community Reviews

Azerbaijani pianist and singer Aziza Mustafa Zadeh enlists an absolute all-star cast of American jazz legends, including Al Di Meola and Stanley Clarke, for her exhilarating third album. 'Dance of Fire' brilliantly intertwines the complex vocal acrobatics and traditional scales of Azerbaijani Mugham directly with fiery, highly technical jazz-fusion arrangements. It stands as a breathtakingly energetic display of cross-cultural musical virtuosity.
