Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by B.B. King himself and recorded at Dockside Studios in Louisiana, 'Makin' Love Is Good for You' staffs his road band, including keyboardist James Toney and saxophonist Melvin Jackson, behind a program of contemporary electric blues. Its material pairs King's own songs with Tony Joe White's title track, Willie Dixon's 'Don't Go No Farther', Buddy Johnson's 'Since I Fell for You' and Barbara George's 'I Know'.
