Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released during a vital period of artistic resurgence, 'The Jungle' captures the legendary blues guitarist extending his influence to a younger, rock-oriented audience via the ABC/Bluesway imprint. King's expressive, weeping guitar work on Lucille marries effortlessly with simmering soul-blues arrangements and horns. The collection reaffirms his unmatched dominance over the electric blues tradition.
