Eschewing the polished electronic production of his earlier international crossover hits, 'Missing You' was recorded primarily outdoors in a Senegalese village. The album highlights incredibly vibrant acoustic instrumentation and traditional Griot storytelling, resulting in a deeply rhythmic and joyful celebration of Fula heritage.
