Album Notes & Community Reviews

Billed as a concept album exploring a virtual alternate universe, 'The Other One' marks BABYMETAL's return following a brief period of inactivity. The record pushes the Japanese group's sound toward a more mature, alternative metal direction while slightly dialing back the hyperactive bubblegum pop elements of their earlier work. It features dense, djent-inspired riffing layered with atmospheric synthesizers and ambitious vocal arrangements.
