Album Notes & Community Reviews

Helmed by former Libertines frontman Pete Doherty, the band recruited renowned producer Stephen Street to rein in their notoriously chaotic, drug-fueled aesthetic. The resulting sophomore album is a remarkably focused, poetic, and quintessentially British indie-rock record that captures the grimy, romanticized reality of mid-2000s London.
