Album Notes & Community Reviews
As their sixth studio album, 'Freeways' finds Bachman-Turner Overdrive attempting to broaden their signature hard rock sound. While incorporating softer pop rock and AOR influences, the release struggled to match the critical and commercial heights of their earlier work. It ultimately marks a significant transitional and tumultuous period for the Canadian rock heavyweights.
