Más Cara

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Más Cara', Bad Gyal expands her sonic palette by delving into a diverse range of Caribbean influences, conceived as a 'dream playlist' reconnecting with the sounds of her youth. The album intentionally fuses reggaeton and dancehall with genres like merengue house, Jamaican shatta, and Haitian kompa, all filtered through a polished, contemporary R&B and electronic lens. Thematically, the project is a statement of artistic control and unapologetic confidence, using its title and visual aesthetic to symbolize elegance, strength, and a new era of maturity.
