Album Notes & Community Reviews

Framed as an autobiographical homage to Bruce Springsteen's most famous work, 'Born in the U.K.' chronicles Damon Gough's childhood and shifting British identity. The production embraces sprawling chamber pop arrangements, complete with sweeping strings and prominent piano melodies. The album effectively merged his quirky indie-pop songwriting with grand, heartland rock-inspired emotional ambition.
