Album Notes & Community Reviews
Bar冒i J贸hannsson leads the Icelandic collective through a remarkably lush, highly cinematic collection of melancholic electronic pop. The pristine production seamlessly weaves sweeping orchestral strings and subtle acoustic guitars around deep, trip-hop influenced rhythms. The profoundly romantic, slightly sinister atmosphere perfectly captures the sophisticated, moody aesthetic of the early 2000s European downtempo scene.
