Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with the sprawling accompaniment of the Barclay James Harvest Symphony Orchestra, the band's second album perfected their signature brand of deeply melancholic, pastoral symphonic rock. Featuring John Lees' defining anti-war masterpiece 'Mocking Bird', the record expertly balances delicate acoustic fingerpicking with grandiose, Mellotron-laced orchestral swells. It firmly established the group as the premier purveyors of sweeping, romantic British prog.
