Album Notes & Community Reviews

Selling over a million copies in Canada alone, the quirky alternative-pop quintet's debut is a defining cultural artifact of early 90s Canadian music. The incredibly tight acoustic instrumentation and intricate vocal harmonies brilliantly showcase Steven Page and Ed Robertson's hyper-literate, deeply humorous, and subtly melancholic songwriting.
