Operating at the desolate crossroads of desert rock and dark ambient music, the San Francisco duo expanded their sound with subtle percussion and harmonium on this release. The sprawling, meditative guitar drones evoke vast, sun-scorched landscapes and an ominous, spiritual atmosphere deeply indebted to Ennio Morricone and Earth.
