Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed American bassist leads a quartet that includes Terje Rypdal and Dieter Feichtner through intensely atmospheric, freely structured improvisations. The spacious, haunting recording perfectly exemplifies the introspective chamber jazz aesthetic cultivated by the ECM label.
