A rare, entirely unaccompanied piano date from one of the foremost disciples of the bebop tradition. Barry Harris utilizes this solo setting to meticulously explore the harmonic vocabulary of Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk, delivering a deeply intellectual, highly swinging masterclass in modern jazz piano architecture.
