Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Barry Manilow Live' was recorded at the Uris Theatre in New York City between 21 December 1976 and 2 January 1977 and produced by Manilow with Ron Dante. The double album became his first number one album in the United States, displacing Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours', and its 'Very Strange Medley' revived the commercial jingles he had written for McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Band-Aid and Dr Pepper.
