Natasha Khan delivers a deeply tragic, highly cinematic concept album detailing the story of a woman whose fiancé is killed in a car crash on the way to their wedding. The record eschews heavy pop production in favor of fragile, ghostly synthesizers, harps, and autoharps to mirror the protagonist's profound mourning. It earned her a nomination for the Mercury Prize.
