Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the departure of vocalist Tyondai Braxton, Battles recruited guest singers like Gary Numan and Kazu Makino for 'Gloss Drop'. The album retains the band's signature complex rhythms and loop-based structures but feels looser and more playful. It is a colorful, kaleidoscopic math-rock party.
