Album Notes & Community Reviews
The British songwriter continues his exploration of deeply sarcastic, spoken-word art pop on his seventh studio album. 'I Thought I Was Better Than You' pairs his dry, cynical lyrical observations regarding his famous lineage with incredibly smooth, R&B-influenced synthesizer production. The record provides a highly rhythmic, introspective, and notably deadpan reflection on nepo-baby anxiety.
