Album Notes & Community Reviews

Zubin Mehta commands the Bayerisches Staatsorchester through a breathtakingly chaotic and profoundly dynamic archival performance of Igor Stravinsky's 'Le Sacre du printemps'. Unveiled for the first time on vinyl to honor Mehta's 90th birthday, this 2007 recording captures the ominous, earth-shattering dissonance and epic rhythmic pulse of the modernist masterpiece with unparalleled intensity[cite: 9].
