Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in the aftermath of a tragic touring accident that claimed their drummer, 'The Walking Wounded' finds Bayside channeling their grief into focused, melancholic pop punk. The album expands their sound with orchestral elements and a theatrical rock edge, without sacrificing their heavy, energetic guitar foundations. It is widely considered their defining artistic statement within the mid-2000s emo-pop movement[cite: 4].
