Album Notes & Community Reviews

After a period of profound personal struggle and relocation to Manchester, Brian Christinzio delivers a remarkably triumphant, melodically rich comeback record. 'How to Die in the North' is characterized by incredibly lush, multi-layered baroque pop arrangements, bouncy piano melodies, and sharp, sardonic lyricism. The album is a brilliantly crafted, highly infectious homage to classic 1970s singer-songwriters and ambitious studio pop.
