Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Bloom' expands on the duo's established dream-pop aesthetic, featuring a more polished production that integrates live drums with programmed beats to create a bigger, refined sound. Recorded on 24-track analog tape, the arrangements build hypnotic layers of shimmering guitar, arpeggiated synths, and Victoria Legrand's husky vocals into a dense sonic expanse. These often euphoric soundscapes provide a deliberate contrast to the album's darker lyrical themes of heartbreak, loss, and revival.
