Depression Cherry

On 'Depression Cherry', Beach House makes a deliberate return to the simpler, more intimate song structures of their earlier work, consciously moving away from the loud, live-drum-driven arrangements of their previous album. The album's dream-pop sound is built upon programmed drum machines, hazy organ chords, and ethereal slide guitar, creating a focused and minimalist atmosphere. Co-produced with Chris Coady, the record strips back the bombast for a sound that is both texturally rich and emotionally resonant, reinforcing the duo's core sonic identity.
