Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released with minimal warning just two months after 'Depression Cherry', 'Thank Your Lucky Stars' functions as a deliberate artistic counterpoint to its predecessor. Though recorded during the same sessions, the album was presented as a distinct work, consciously stripping away the expansive reverb of the band's recent output for a starker, more intimate sound that recalls the rawer textures of their earlier material.

Genres

Descriptors: shimmering, reverb-heavy, synthesizers, female-vocals, velvety
