Album Notes & Community Reviews

Typically known for their whimsical, Frank Zappa-infused quirkiness, the Swedish progressive rock outfit took a dramatically darker and heavier turn on their seventh studio effort. Incorporating prominent metallic riffs and aggressive growls, the album conceptually deals with themes of loss, nihilism, and emotional despair. It represents a bold, uncompromising stylistic expansion that challenged the boundaries of the modern retro-prog movement.
