Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as Caleb Shomo's fifth studio album under the Beartooth moniker, 'The Surface' marks a profound thematic shift away from the despair and self-loathing of his previous work. The record leans heavily into massive, highly polished alternative metal and post-grunge choruses, prioritizing an overtly optimistic and uplifting message regarding sobriety and mental health recovery.
