Album Notes & Community Reviews

A quintessential classic of the K Records catalog, 'Black Candy' captures Beat Happening pushing their minimalist aesthetic into slightly darker territories. The trio pairs Calvin Johnson's deadpan baritone with incredibly raw, noisy slacker rock, retaining a melodic, bittersweet, and playful twee pop charm.
