Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Pick Up on This!' was recorded in October 1993 and produced by Scott Billington, with Beau Jocque's accordion and baritone driving the Zydeco Hi-Rollers through twelve tracks. The programme reworks John Lee Hooker's Boogie Chillen' as Zydeco Boogie Woogie, adds turntable scratches by a New Orleans turntablist to Give It to Me and closes by interpolating War's Low Rider.
