Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Mellow Gold' is a highly eclectic and surreal debut that merged anti-folk with hip-hop beats and slacker rock irony. Beck utilizes quirky, lo-fi production and humorous, abstract lyricism to construct a uniquely playful psychedelic collage that captured the mid-90s alternative spirit.
