Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their third release, the Scottish prog outfit heavily utilized the Mellotron, bringing a lush, symphonic majesty to their classical rock ambitions. The band successfully integrated a soaring cover of Richard Harris's 'MacArthur Park' alongside their own complex, medieval-tinged original compositions. Featuring spectacular guitar work from Ricky Gardiner, it is widely considered the peak of their classical-fusion era.
