Album Notes & Community Reviews

A forgotten jewel of the Vertigo swirl era, this Scottish group's second outing is an incredibly ambitious mix of hard rock, classical grandeur, and mystical fantasy lyricism. Centered on Martin Griffiths' powerful, highly distinctive vocals and expansive keyboard arrangements, the album attempts to reconcile aggressive riffing with soaring, cinematic symphonic structures. It remains a essential listen for fans of the more playful, high-concept end of 70s prog.
