Named after the Italian town where Zach Condon wrote the title track, this record finds the ensemble returning to the lush, brass-heavy Balkan and Mariachi-inspired instrumentation of their early work. Recorded largely in Italy and Berlin, it utilizes a vintage Farfisa organ as the central anchoring instrument, restoring the warm, melancholic globetrotting spirit of the project.
