Album Notes & Community Reviews

Zach Condon's debut as Beirut brings the sounds of Balkan brass bands to indie folk. Recorded in his bedroom, 'Gulag Orkestar' is lo-fi, romantic, and filled with trumpet and accordion. It is a unique, nostalgic travelogue of Eastern Europe.
