Gil Shaham performs Bart贸k's Violin Concerto No. 2 and the two Rhapsodies with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under Pierre Boulez. The recording came out of the orchestra's 1998-99 Bart贸k series with Boulez and uses the concerto's original ending.
