Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring several members of Arcade Fire, the Montreal-based instrumental sextet delivers a lush, highly rhythmic sophomore album. Produced entirely by John McEntire at Soma Studios in Chicago, the intricately arranged tracks seamlessly blend sweeping post-rock dynamics with elements of avant-garde jazz and modern chamber music. It is a vibrant, sophisticated showcase of orchestral independent rock.
