Album Notes & Community Reviews
Emerging from a decade-long hiatus, the Montreal-based instrumental collective鈥攆eaturing members of Arcade Fire鈥攃aptured this entire project during an expansive, continuous improvisation in Sarah Neufeld's rural home. 'House Music' was later meticulously edited and sculpted into distinct movements, resulting in a soaring blend of contemporary chamber jazz and post-rock crescendos. The record radiates an immense, communal warmth and spontaneous musical joy.
