Stygian Bough Volume I

Album Notes & Community Reviews

After years of minor collaborations and shared touring, the acclaimed funeral doom duo fully integrates with the solitary acoustic project of Erik Moggridge (Aerial Ruin). The resulting album masterfully bridges glacially slow, crushing bass-driven doom metal with incredibly delicate, mournful acoustic folk arrangements. It is a cinematic, deeply sorrowful exploration of mortality and the natural world.
